Coordinate MEP activities between Technical Office, Procurement, Engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Review project documents, including contracts, shop drawings, specifications, and schedules, for completeness and compliance. Collect and monitor purchase requests from project sites and follow up until purchase orders and payments are issued. Support construction planning by evaluating in-house execution versus subcontracting strategies. Coordinate the MEP subcontractor tendering process, including bid invitations, evaluations, and recommendations. Review technical and commercial proposals from subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget. Assist the Planning Department in developing and maintaining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for MEP activities. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and coordinate timely resolutions with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and project updates to ensure effective communication across teams. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 3 6 years of experience in MEP coordination, construction, or project engineering. Experience coordinating MEP activities on commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projects. Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and project documentation. Experience in subcontractor coordination, procurement follow-up, and technical document review. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Knowledge of contract administration and MEP tendering processes is an advantage.
