• Coordinate and manage MEP activities across ongoing construction projects.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure proper coordination with architectural and structural works.
• Coordinate between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, architectural, and other project disciplines.
• Monitor MEP works on site and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other MEP-related technical documents.
• Identify clashes and interface issues between MEP services and other disciplines and ensure timely resolution.
• Follow up on MEP project progress and coordinate with the project team to meet planned schedules.
• Ensure MEP works are executed in accordance with applicable standards, authority requirements, and signed contracts.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
• Support the project team in resolving technical issues and maintaining smooth project execution.
• Monitor the quality of MEP installations and ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover requirements are achieved.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and project stakeholders where required.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to MEP works.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience in the UAE.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with an Abu Dhabi-based contracting company .
• Strong experience in coordinating MEP works within construction projects.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, drawings, specifications, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
