Invoice processing officer

To manage the end-to-end payments process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices in compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. This includes verifying supporting documentation, approval requirements, and LPO details, ensuring invoices are correctly validated, recorded, and processed for payment within agreed timelines. The role supports effective payment processing, maintains accurate financial records, resolves invoice-related discrepancies, coordinates with internal stakeholders and vendors while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience working with ERP or financial management systems is preferred. • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Invoice Processing, or a similar finance-related role. • Proven experience in end-to-end invoice processing, including invoice verification, matching, approval coordination, payment preparation, and record maintenance. • Experience reviewing invoices against LPOs/POs, contracts, quotations, delivery notes, and supporting documentation. • Experience liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment queries, and outstanding issues. • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial systems is preferred. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple invoices and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of VAT regulations, audit requirements, and general accounting principles is an advantage. • Good numerical ability with strong attention to accuracy and detail. • Good team player, with strong interpersonal skills
