**Hiring: Business Lead – Credit \& Risk Excellence** **Location:** Qatar We are looking for an experienced **Business Lead – Credit \& Risk Excellence** to lead strategic initiatives focused on credit transformation, risk governance, portfolio optimization, and risk\-adjusted performance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing credit decision\-making, strengthening governance frameworks, and supporting sustainable business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the bank's Credit \& Risk Excellence strategy and transformation initiatives. * Review and redesign credit policies, approval frameworks, and end\-to\-end credit processes. * Drive portfolio optimization using RAROC (Risk\-Adjusted Return on Capital) methodologies. * Develop sector\-specific and product\-specific risk appetite frameworks. * Collaborate with Business, Credit, Risk, Finance, and Strategy teams to strengthen governance and improve portfolio performance. * Present strategic recommendations to senior management and governance committees. **Requirements** * Minimum **12\+ years of banking experience**. * Strong experience in **Credit Risk, Wholesale Banking, Risk Management, or Credit Transformation**. * Proven expertise in credit policy design, portfolio management, RAROC, and risk governance. * Experience leading transformation initiatives across multiple geographies. * Excellent analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. * **Based in Qatar.** * **Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.** **Interested candidates who meet the above criteria are invited to share their updated CVs.** Work Location: In person
