Key Responsibilities: • Customer Service: Greet customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment. • Order Taking & Recommendations: Take beverage orders from customers and waitstaff, provide recommendations, and upsell beverages when appropriate. • Beverages Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, according to standard recipes. • Innovation & Menu Development: Create new and innovative beverages to enhance the beverages menu. • Presentation & Quality Control: Ensure the correct glassware, garnishes, and presentation for each beverage, maintaining high-quality standards. • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, sinks, and storage areas. • Inventory Management: Restock and replenish bar supplies, perform regular inventory checks, and notify management of any shortages. • Compliance & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients. • Payment Processing: Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit, and debit transactions, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift. • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and participate in team meetings to contribute to a positive work environment. • Educational Background: Certification in Barista Training, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage. • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Barista, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or specialty coffee shop. • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and specialty coffee preparation. • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach. • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high-quality beverage standards and presentation. • Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Regional Experience: Previous experience in Bahrain or the Middle East is preferred.
