WE ARE HIRING – ESTIMATOR (SIGNAGE INDUSTRY) Job Title: Estimator – Signage & Advertising Industry Job Location: UAE Industry: Signage / Advertising / Printing / Fabrication Experience Required: Minimum 3–5 Years (UAE Signage Industry Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Signage Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication processes, installation methods, and cost estimation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, analyzing project requirements, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. Key Responsibilities • Review client inquiries, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents to understand project requirements. • Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive quotations for indoor and outdoor signage projects. • Calculate material quantities, fabrication costs, labour costs, installation expenses, transportation, and other project-related costs. • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing proposals. • Estimate costs for illuminated and non-illuminated signage, 3D letters, acrylic signs, metal signs, LED signage, wayfinding signage, vehicle graphics, and branding works. • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive material prices and service quotations. • Maintain updated knowledge of signage materials, market pricing, fabrication techniques, and installation methods. • Coordinate with sales, design, production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure accurate project estimation. • Review technical drawings and identify cost-effective materials and production methods. • Conduct site visits and measurements whenever required to verify project specifications. • Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and quotation revisions within deadlines. • Monitor estimated versus actual project costs and recommend improvements to enhance profitability. • Maintain proper records of quotations, costing sheets, supplier pricing, and project documentation. • Support the sales team with technical clarifications, pricing negotiations, and value-engineering solutions. Candidate Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in signage estimation, preferably within the UAE signage industry. • Strong knowledge of signage materials, including acrylic, aluminium, stainless steel, GI, ACP, vinyl, flex, LED modules, and other fabrication materials. • Good understanding of signage manufacturing, printing, CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, painting, and installation processes. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, architectural drawings, and BOQs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and CorelDRAW is an added advantage. • Strong numerical, analytical, costing, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation abilities. • Ability to manage multiple quotations and meet tight deadlines. • Familiarity with UAE supplier networks and market rates is an advantage. • UAE driving licence will be an added advantage. • Previous experience working with a signage manufacturing or advertising production company. • Strong understanding of material consumption, wastage calculations, labour productivity, and project profit margins. • Ability to prepare accurate estimates independently with minimum supervision. • Knowledge of retail signage, corporate branding, exhibition signage, architectural signage, and large-scale outdoor signage projects.
