Document Controller

The Document Controller to work on behalf of the Client and to be based in Client’s offices in Jeddah/Riyadh, KSA and handle the Document Control functions for thermal power generation project(s). The Document Controller shall be responsible for the following key activities: • Track the submission of design deliverables as per the Master Document List (MDL), update the MDL based on the review status • Ensure timely dissemination of deliverables to relevant parties, with the support of the project technical team • Monitor the document submission schedule, expedite the comments from the project team • Maintain comprehensive records of all submissions, approvals, revisions, and correspondences related to engineering deliverables. • Provide inputs to the progress reports on the status of engineering deliverables, highlighting key achievements, issues, and upcoming milestones. Experience and Skill set The candidate shall have the required experience and skillset to lead and monitor the document control functions involved in large power plants or similar infrastructure projects. The candidate shall have the complete knowledge of discipline related documents, track record for the submittals and coordination with the concerned discipline engineers for follow up, issuance, receiving, sending submittals, and archiving the project documents in the system. • Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in related field and related Iconic or equivalent software. • Familiarity with the Document Control Software such as Aconex, ThinkProject, SharePoint, etc. is a mandatory requirement • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders of the project.
