Delivery Planning Supervisor

• Plan and schedule daily customer deliveries based on order priorities, delivery locations, vehicle capacity, and available manpower. • Coordinate with warehouse, store, dispatch, customer service, and delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfilment. • Allocate delivery vehicles and crews based on delivery volume, route efficiency, and operational requirements. • Monitor daily dispatch and delivery progress, promptly addressing delays, failed deliveries, rescheduling, and other operational issues. • Ensure delivery plans are aligned with customer commitments and agreed service-level targets. • Coordinate with customer service teams to manage delivery updates, customer requests, complaints, and escalations. • Track key operational KPIs, including on-time delivery, first-attempt delivery success, vehicle utilization, crew productivity, and pending deliveries. • Prepare daily and periodic reports on delivery performance, backlogs, exceptions, and operational efficiency. • Ensure accurate delivery documentation and compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and operational policies. • Identify opportunities to improve route planning, resource utilization, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Supervise delivery planning activities and support the team in achieving daily operational targets. • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in delivery planning, logistics, transportation, or last-mile delivery operations. • Experience in retail, home appliances, electronics, or large-item delivery operations is preferred. • Previous supervisory experience in delivery planning or logistics coordination is an advantage. • Good knowledge of route planning, vehicle allocation, delivery scheduling, and resource optimization. • Experience using ERP, WMS, transport management systems, or delivery planning software. • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools, with the ability to analyze operational data and monitor KPIs. • Strong coordination, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle delivery exceptions, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to timely service delivery.
