Fleet and Dispatch Supervisor

• Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of vehicles and resources to meet operational demands. • Manage a team of dispatchers and drivers, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team. • Develop and implement optimized routing and scheduling strategies to minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and operational costs. • Monitor fleet performance and maintenance schedules, coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure vehicle uptime and safety compliance. • Respond to and resolve urgent operational issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or traffic disruptions, with swift and effective solutions. • Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, driver hours, and delivery statuses for reporting and analysis. • Enforce company policies and safety regulations, ensuring all drivers and dispatchers adhere to established protocols. • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Hold a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in fleet management or dispatch operations, preferably within the transportation industry. • Demonstrate proficiency in using fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and other relevant dispatch technologies. • Exhibit strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide operational staff. • Possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly under pressure and in dynamic situations. • Have a solid understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements. • Showcase exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with drivers, staff, and stakeholders. • Be proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive operational insights and improvements.
