Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist

Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a full time Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist for their client, a multispecialty hospital in Abu Dhabi. We are looking for physicians with recognised specialist qualifications and subspecialty training in Pediatric Rheumatology, with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis, childhood lupus, juvenile dermatomyositis, vasculitis, autoinflammatory syndromes and complex autoimmune conditions within a multidisciplinary hospital setting. Candidates should have experience in comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment, joint injections, interpretation of immunological investigations and the selection and monitoring of immunosuppressive and biological therapies. Responsibilities will include developing individual treatment plans, monitoring disease activity and treatment outcomes, protecting growth and physical function, counselling families and coordinating care with pediatric nephrology, dermatology, ophthalmology and rehabilitation teams.
