Consultant Pediatric Urgent Care

Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a full time Consultant Pediatric Urgent Care Physician for their client, a multispecialty hospital in Abu Dhabi. We are looking for physicians with recognised specialist qualifications in Pediatrics and substantial experience in assessing and treating children presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries within an urgent care or acute pediatric setting. Candidates should be skilled in evaluating fever, respiratory symptoms, dehydration, gastrointestinal illness, allergic reactions and other common childhood presentations, with the ability to recognise serious illness and initiate timely stabilisation and escalation. Responsibilities will include prioritising clinical assessments, selecting appropriate investigations, delivering evidence based treatment, performing minor procedures within their clinical privileges and determining safe discharge or hospital admission. The role will also involve providing clear advice to parents, arranging appropriate follow up and coordinating care with pediatric emergency, inpatient and subspecialty teams. Physicians holding a Tier 1 Board certification / Fellowship training would be preferred: ABMS, CCT, CCST, RCPSC, CES, DES, DESC, FRC Australian or New Zealand, CMSA
