Construction Manager

**Job Description – Construction Manager (Oil \& Gas Project)** **Position:** Construction Manager **Location:** Qatar **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Construction Manager** to lead construction activities for a major Oil \& Gas project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all site construction activities to ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage all construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. * Develop and implement construction execution plans in line with project schedules and objectives. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and project management teams. * Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures. * Monitor construction progress and resolve technical and operational issues. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. * Manage construction resources, manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity. * Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to HSE policies and quality standards. * Review construction schedules, progress reports, and resource plans, and recommend corrective actions where necessary. * Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution. * Support pre\-commissioning, commissioning, handover, and project close\-out activities. * Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across all construction activities. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in **Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering**, or an equivalent engineering discipline. * Minimum **10 years of experience** in the Oil \& Gas industry. * Proven experience managing construction activities for major Oil \& Gas projects. * Strong knowledge of site execution, construction coordination, and project delivery. * Experience working on **EPIC** or major Oil \& Gas projects is preferred. * Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. * Strong understanding of HSE requirements, quality standards, and construction best practices.
