Commis Chef - Catering

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join a reputed bakery and catering business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, good kitchen discipline, and the ability to support daily catering operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in food preparation for catering orders, events and daily production. • Support the preparation of hot and cold dishes as per menu requirements. • Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning and presentation. • Ensure proper storage, stock rotation and food safety standards. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and production areas. • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of catering orders. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a catering company, hotel, restaurant or central kitchen. • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong teamwork skills.
