CNC Machine Operator

• Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as CNC milling, turning, drilling, and cutting machines as per production requirements. • Set up CNC machines by installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to job specifications. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CNC programs. • Load, execute, and monitor CNC programs to ensure accurate machining operations. • Perform machine adjustments and tool offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy. • Monitor machine operations and ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards and production targets. • Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Identify and report machine malfunctions, tooling issues, and production abnormalities to the supervisor. • Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories. • Follow approved work instructions, production schedules, and quality control procedures. • Maintain production records, machine operating logs, and inspection reports. • Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • Maintain housekeeping standards in the CNC machining area in accordance with 5S requirements. • Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations. • Knowledge of CNC machine operation and setup. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-code and M-code). • Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and tool selection. • Ability to use precision measuring instruments. • Understanding of quality standards and dimensional tolerances. • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
