Chartered Accountant

Role & responsibilities • Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, and cash flow management specifically for metal trading and recycling transactions. • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC), and managing specific rules like the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) related to scrap/metal transactions. • Inventory & Cost Accounting: Handle absolute valuation, auditing, and tracking of physical inventory across metal ores, processed metals, and recyclable materials. • Auditing & Reporting: Conduct internal audits, prepare comprehensive monthly/annual financial statements, and coordinate with external statutory auditors. • Vendor & Client Reconciliations: Regularly verify and reconcile accounts with raw material suppliers, scrap dealers, and international or domestic buyer Preferred candidate profile • Qualification: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply). • Industry Experience: Prior experience or internship exposure in Metal Trading, Commodities, Scrap Recycling, Manufacturing, or Import/Export sectors is highly preferred. • Knowledge Base: understanding of accounting standards, indirect tax compliance (GST & Customs).
