Business Analyst (Functional UAT Tester)

• Develop comprehensive UAT test plans and detailed test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications to ensure thorough validation. • Execute functional UAT test cases meticulously, documenting defects with clear, actionable steps and expected vs. actual results. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate test scenarios, and ensure alignment on acceptance criteria. • Analyze and triage reported defects, working with development teams to prioritize fixes and retest resolved issues. Required Skills and Experience Jira experience is a mandatory requirement. Candidates without hands-on Jira defect management experience will not be considered. • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on functional and UAT testing of consumer-facing mobile apps and websites. • Hands-on Jira use: logging, triaging, retesting and closing defects, and working with boards, filters and dashboards. • Experience of Agile/Scrum sprint delivery, testing to sprint release cadences. • Strong test case design, with the ability to turn user stories and acceptance criteria into structured, traceable test cases. • Mobile testing on real iOS and Android devices, including installing and testing pre-release builds via TestFlight or Firebase App Distribution. Experience conducting UAT for digital accessibility in mobile apps, including validating key user journeys with assistive technologies and against agreed accessibility requirements to WCAG standards • Arabic language proficiency, with the ability to test Arabic-language mobile app content and user journeys. Preferred Experience • Experience in theme parks, hospitality, travel, leisure, ticketing or e-commerce. • Experience with Sitecore or a headless CMS. • Payment gateway testing. • ISTQB Foundation certification.
