Architecture Coordinator

Abu Dhabi The Architect ure Coordinator role involves leading multidisciplinary design coordination, managing interfaces between the Employer, PMC, contractor, LDC, and specialist consultants, and ensuring timely delivery of design information in line with project requirements and construction programmes. Roles & Responsibilities • Coordinate all design disciplines and specialist sub-consultants, including Fa ade, Landscape, Water Features, Kitchen, Sustainability, Acoustics, Specialist Lighting, Sauna, Swimming Pools, Structural, and MEP. • Act as the central coordination point between the Employer, PMC, contractor, LDC, and sub-consultants. • Organise coordination meetings, prepare MOM, maintain action trackers, and respond to technical correspondence. • Track design deliverables, milestones, and technical information required to support construction progress. • Monitor and expedite shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical submissions. • Follow up on RFIs, design clarifications, interface issues, and design changes with the responsible disciplines. • Coordinate the resolution of design discrepancies and technical issues arising during construction. • Coordinate and monitor authority submissions, NOCs, approvals, and statutory requirements, ensuring timely follow-up and closure. Experience & Qualifications • • Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. • 10 15 years of relevant experience in design/construction coordination for high-end projects. • Working knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Synchro.
