Accountant Receivables

• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, credit note preparation, and customer account reconciliations. • Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with customers to ensure timely collections. • Prepare and circulate daily collection reports, weekly receivables reports, and monthly accounts receivable reports . • Monitor overdue accounts, maintain accurate ageing reports, and escalate collection issues where necessary. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, and other relevant departments, to resolve billing discrepancies and collection-related issues. • Ensure accurate recording of customer receipts, credit notes, adjustments, and outstanding balances. • Assist with VAT return preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with applicable UAE tax regulations. • Maintain working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax requirements. • Support month-end closing activities, accounts reconciliation, and audit requirements. • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the service industry. • Strong experience in payment collection, receivables ageing, credit notes, and customer account reconciliation. • Practical knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and VAT return filing, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax. • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems. • Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
