Accountant

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents. • Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and financial accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Prepare financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets. Monitor company expenses, petty cash, and cash flow. • Prepare and verify VAT calculations and assist with VAT return preparation and filing in compliance with UAE regulations. Maintain proper documentation for VAT, audits, and other financial transactions. • Follow up on outstanding payments and customer balances. Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, and auditors regarding financial matters. • Use accounting software and Microsoft Excel to maintain records and prepare financial reports. Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and applicable financial regulations. • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE. • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and applicable tax rules. • Ability to work efficiently, independently, and meet deadlines. • Experienced in bookkeeping, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable. • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. • Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements. • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
