Accountant - Ajman

General Accounting 1- Maintain daily accounting transactions and general ledger. 2-Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments. 3- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation. 4-Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. 5-Perform monthly closing activities. Accounts Payable & Receivable 1-Process supplier invoices and payment vouchers. • Monitor customer outstanding balances and collections. • Reconcile supplier and customer statements. • Follow up on overdue receivables and payment schedules. Bank & Cash Management 1-Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. • Monitor cash and bank balances. • Maintain petty cash records. • Track cash flow and payment commitments. Tax & Statutory Compliance 1- Assist in VAT and Corporate Tax calculations and filings. 2- Maintain tax records and supporting documents. 3-Assist with withholding tax reconciliations. 4- Support statutory and tax audits. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly trial balances. 1-Assist in preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets. 2- Prepare expense analysis and accounting schedules. 3-Support monthly management reporting. Documentation & Internal Controls 1- Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems. 2- Ensure compliance with company financial policies. 3- Verify invoices, purchase orders and payment approvals. 4- Identify discrepancies and report unusual transactions. 1-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. • 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience. • Knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles. • Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems. • Good command of Microsoft Excel. • Strong numerical, and analytical skills
