The role of a Receptionist in the Aftersales Department is crucial for achieving the company's customer service objectives, both monthly and annually. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all customers receive the highest standard of service, whether over email, phone, or in person. As a focal point for improving customer service and fostering a quality service culture, the Receptionist is empowered to make customer-focused decisions and resolve issues, thus contributing to creating lifelong customers. What You Will Do: General • Handle all incoming telephone communications, noting reasons for the call and forwarding to relevant team members, subject to availability. • Provide excellent customer service as per company policy and procedures through email, phone, or walk in. • Resolve customer queries promptly within company guidelines before escalating to higher levels if necessary. • Attend to customer needs, understanding their requirements to ensure maximum number of enquiries are handled quickly and forwarded responsibly. • Log all calls with time, date, and caller details to maintain accurate records. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personnel and procedures to streamline communications. • Deal with 'drop-in' customers quickly and proficiently, coordinating with employees to ensure efficient service. Required Skills To Be Successful: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve customer queries effectively. • Familiarity with IT systems related to customer service. • High adaptability to maintain seamless service across multiple channels.
