Job description

We are seeking an experienced Trainer – Water to deliver technical training programs, facilitate practical and classroom-based learning, and support competency development within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing training materials, evaluating trainee performance, maintaining training facilities and equipment, and continuously enhancing training effectiveness while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities Training Delivery • Deliver technical training programs for water operations and engineering personnel. • Conduct classroom and practical training sessions using approved training methodologies. • Lead, coach, mentor, and supervise trainees throughout the learning process. • Assess, evaluate, and certify trainees based on competency requirements. Training Planning & Administration • Plan training schedules, equipment, materials, and resources to ensure effective program delivery. • Maintain training facilities, equipment, and instructional resources. • Update and improve training materials, manuals, and presentations to reflect current standards and best practices. • Continuously enhance training methods and learning approaches to improve participant engagement and effectiveness. Quality & Compliance • Support compliance with Quality Management Systems, ISO standards, Risk Management, and Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements. • Ensure all training activities comply with applicable health, safety, environmental, and organizational procedures. • Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and certification documentation. • Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline (Master's Degree preferred). • Train-the-Trainer (TTT) or equivalent Training Methodology Certification. Experience • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience. • At least 1 year of experience in technical training, learning & development, or competency development. Skills & Competencies • Strong presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills. • Ability to design and deliver engaging technical training programs. • Experience evaluating trainee competency and performance. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Bilingual proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred. • Strong organizational and planning abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
