Trade Finance and Banking Relations Specialist

1. Trade Finance • Handle import/export LCs, including issuance, amendments, document checking, and maturity follow-up. • Coordinate Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and SBLCs with banks. • Monitor payments and support trade financing. • Understand UCP 600, ISBP, and URC 522. 2. Banking Relations & Credit Facilities • Maintain relationships with banks in the UAE, Mauritius, and Bahrain. • Liaise with bank relationship managers and relevant departments. • Prepare credit applications and supporting documents. • Compare financing rates, fees, and terms. • Monitor credit approvals, utilization, and renewals. 3. Banking Compliance • Support KYC, KYB, UBO, AML, and sanctions compliance. • Respond to banks' inquiries on transactions and fund usage. • Coordinate with internal teams and identify compliance risks. • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping. 4. Reporting & Monitoring • Track LCs, collections, guarantees, and credit facilities. • Monitor utilization, maturity dates, and financing costs. • Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and business correspondence. • Report progress and risks to the Head of Treasury. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, International Trade, or a related field. • 2–4 years of relevant experience in trade finance, international settlements, or corporate banking. • Practical experience with LCs, Documentary Collections, or Bank Guarantees. • Fluent in spoken and written English. • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Strong communication, coordination, execution, and confidentiality skills. • Able to work across time zones and handle peak workloads.
