Technician- Automatic Doors

The technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic door systems, including sliding, swing, and rolling doors, as well as related sensors and control units. Daily tasks include performing diagnostic checks, replacing faulty components, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications. The role involves visiting customer sites, documenting work performed, coordinating with supervisors and project managers, and providing clear explanations of work and basic operating guidance to clients. The technician is expected to maintain tools and equipment in good condition, follow company procedures, and support the team in delivering timely, high-quality service. • Diploma or ITI certification in electrical or mechanical is highly advantageous. • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience specifically with automatic door systems (sliding, swinging, revolving) is preferred • Candidates should possess strong technical and mechanical skills related to installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of automatic doors or similar electromechanical systems. • Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Candidates should possess safety-oriented work practices, including knowledge of basic electrical safety, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to site and company safety protocols. • Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients, explain technical issues in simple terms, and work collaboratively with team members. • Candidates should possess basic record-keeping and organizational skills to document service activities, maintain logs, and manage parts and tools efficiently. • Ability to work on-site in UAE, handle physical tasks, respond to urgent service calls when needed, and hold a valid UAE driver’s license is advantageous.
