Technical Trainer and Operations Support

• Deliver general and trade-specific training, including written and practical assessments, for new recruits and existing employees. • Plan and deliver site-based refresher training for technical staff in their current positions, addressing practical knowledge gaps and reinforcing required maintenance standards. • Identify competency gaps and provide development training to improve technical standards and service delivery. • Provide engineering technical support to operational sites when requested or identified through contract reviews. • Support the Centre of Excellence team in conducting on-site MEP audits, inspections and follow-up actions to improve technical compliance and service delivery. • Assess employees referred for promotion, development or disciplinary review, and maintain accurate assessment records. • Keep training materials aligned with current engineering, best practice, industry standards and statutory requirements. • Maintain complete Centre of Excellence documentation and audit trails, and support recruitment activities as required. • Work-based development recognition. • Strong knowledge of LV distribution systems, HVAC plant and equipment, thermodynamics and psychrometrics. • Exposure to BMS/PLC and control systems. • Multi-skilled maintenance experience. • Sound problem-solving ability. • Capability to manage a building independently. • Good verbal and written English. • Strong presentation skills. • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to work to report deadlines. • Maintain professional documentation. • Uphold HSSEQ requirements.
