HVAC Engineer

• Install, test, commission, operate, and maintain HVAC and mechanical systems in data center environments. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and related equipment. • Diagnose and repair HVAC system faults and mechanical failures efficiently. • Monitor HVAC performance via BMS and control systems, ensuring optimal cooling capacity and redundancy. • Conduct temperature, airflow, and cooling capacity checks to meet data center operational requirements. • Support HVAC system installations, upgrades, and modifications during data center build-outs and expansions. • Coordinate with electrical, UPS, and IT teams during commissioning and live operations. • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, logs, and documentation. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and mechanical standards, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, local regulations). • Participate in emergency response, fault escalation, risk assessments, and HSE audits. • HVAC Certification (EPA, ASHRAE, etc.) • BMS Controls Training (e.g., Schneider, Johnson Controls) • Data Center Certifications (CDCTP, CDCP, or Uptime-accredited training) • Health & Safety (OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written) • Familiar with preventive maintenance practices and CMMS systems
