Teaching Assistant

Minimum Education • Bachelor Degree Minimum Experience • Past experience in a Education environment is desirable Job Specific Knowledge & Skills • UAE National Role • To be able to develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community from children to teaching staff to administrative staff to parents. • To be able to use initiative, be flexible and have a positive attitude. • Classroom Support • Work with groups or individuals to support learning across the curriculum. • Use school policies and methods to help pupils (e.g., phonics, math strategies). • Record pupil activities and assist with administrative tasks like preparing resources, setting up the classroom, and creating displays. • Encourage independence by questioning, modeling, and supporting personal organization and hygiene. Pupil Engagement and Supervision • Build positive relationships with pupils through meaningful communication, enthusiasm, patience, and respect. • Supervise pupils during breaks, school trips, transitions, and specialist lessons. • Manage behavior positively and act as a role model.
