SWITCHGEAR COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

• Testing & Commissioning: Execute testing, pre-commissioning, functional verification, energization, and handover of LV/MV Switchgear, protection relays, control circuits, metering, and interlocks. • Documentation & Review: Review technical drawings, schematics, test procedures, and commissioning documentation. Prepare accurate test reports, punch lists, and handover records. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical issues on-site and implement swift, corrective solutions. • Safety & Quality: Strictly adhere to safety standards, LMRA, PTW protocols, and quality standards. • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with clients, site teams, and project managers throughout project execution • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in LV & MV switchgear testing and commissioning. • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of protection relays, secondary injection testing, and standard commissioning procedures. • Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication and report-writing skills • Kahramaa (KM) Approved SWGR Testing & Commissioning Engineer status. • Proven experience with Siemens switchgear and protection systems . • Hands-on experience within KM Distribution Substations and live network projects
