Supervisor

TJob Title: Aluminium Supervisor Department: Aluminium / Fabrication & Installation Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily aluminium fabrication and installation activities. • Read and interpret architectural, shop, and fabrication drawings. • Coordinate aluminium works such as doors, windows, curtain walls, shopfronts, louvers, and other aluminium systems. • Allocate tasks to fabricators, installers, and helpers. • Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements. • Check dimensions, levels, alignment, plumb, and finishing quality. • Ensure fabrication and installation are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. • Coordinate with engineers, foremen, site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades. • Monitor daily progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule. • Inspect completed works and identify defects or required rectification. • Ensure proper use and handling of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, sealants, and accessories. • Maintain records of daily progress, manpower, material usage, and site activities. • Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are stored properly. • Ensure workers follow company procedures and site health and safety requirements. • Resolve day-to-day technical and site issues and report major issues to management. • Conduct toolbox talks and communicate work instructions to the team where required. • Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient use of aluminium and accessories. • Coordinate inspections and support project engineers during quality inspections and handovers. • Ensure housekeeping and safe working conditions are maintained at the work area. Experience in aluminium and glazing projects, particularly commercial buildings, residential towers, villas, offices, shops, and curtain-wall projects, is an advantage.
