Sr. QC Inspector - Mech. / Piping - Walkin Chennai

• Execute comprehensive mechanical and piping quality control inspections for critical project components, ensuring adherence to design specifications and international codes (e.g., ASME, API). • Review and approve fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and material test reports (MTRs) to guarantee compliance before and during manufacturing. • Conduct visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) on piping systems, vessels, and rotating equipment, meticulously documenting all findings. • Oversee and witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and functional testing of equipment and piping, verifying system integrity and performance against project requirements. • Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience as a QC Inspector specifically in Mechanical and Piping disciplines within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. • Valid certifications such as CSWIP 1, ASNT Level II (VT, RT, UT, MT, PT), and API 510/570 are highly advantageous. • Proven expertise in interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
