Welding Inspector

• Conduct comprehensive visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. • Utilize non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing to detect internal and external defects. • Review and interpret welding procedures and specifications, ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards. • Document inspection results meticulously, maintaining accurate records for compliance and review purposes. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, metallurgy, or equivalent • Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1,AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent are essential for demonstrating expertise. • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in welding inspection within Oil and Gas ,construction, manufacturing, or fabrication industries is required. • Familiarity with various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and stick welding is crucial for effective inspections.
