Job description

This role will play a vital part in ensuring that the systems needed to maintain a large area of luxury landscaping is constructed to the highest standards to exceed our clients expectations. We envisage success in this role to include; Responding promptly to Inspection Requests (IRs) for landscape power distribution, lighting systems, and pump room MEP installations, ensuring rapid turnaround and zero construction delays. Supporting the Resident Electrical Engineer in day-to-day site supervision, technical assessments, and solving complex integration challenges across the expansive villa landscape. Reviewing electrical shop drawings, load schedules, and single-line diagrams to ensure total alignment with contract specifications, VIP luxury standards, and DEWA regulations. Identifying and flagging any site installations, cabling, or equipment mounting that deviates from approved drawings, quality standards, or local utility codes. Monitoring installation quality and testing safety protocols for all outdoor electrical assets, including feeder pillars, control cabinets, and landscape MEP systems. Maintaining meticulous daily site logs, comprehensive progress photography, and organized inspection records to ensure seamless traceability and reporting. Drafting clear, objective site surveillance reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to document, track, and close out any electrical or MEP installation deficiencies. Coordinating daily with civil landscaping, irrigation, and other MEP teams to prevent design clashes and ensure smooth routing of containment and cabling. Executing meticulous snagging and de-snagging inspections for high-end landscape lighting and power setups, driving towards a zero-defect handover. Witnessing and verifying the testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of control cabinets, pumps, and associated MEP equipment to guarantee design performance. Collaborating with the contractor and supervision team to ensure all installations meet DEWA guidelines, facilitating successful utility inspections and project handover. To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. As this is a landscape project involving water bodies, pump rooms, and swimming pools, we are currently seeking candidates with relevant Dubai-based experience in these areas.
