Clinical Responsibilities • Assess and manage patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions. • Perform initial stabilization and initiate appropriate emergency treatment. • Prioritize patients according to clinical urgency and severity. • Recognize and manage time-critical conditions, including cardiac emergencies, stroke symptoms, sepsis, and respiratory distress. • Coordinate diagnostic investigations, specialist referrals, and patient admissions or transfers. • Perform emergency procedures within the scope of training and clinical privileges. • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. • Maintain accurate emergency records and follow patient-safety protocols. • Participate in clinical audits, emergency preparedness activities, and quality-improvement initiatives.
