The successful physician will be responsible for the initial assessment, stabilization and management of patients presenting with acute medical conditions, injuries and trauma. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a busy hospital environment and coordinate patient care with specialist departments. Clinical Responsibilities • Conduct initial assessment and clinical evaluation of emergency patients. • Assess patients presenting with acute medical conditions and traumatic injuries. • Initiate appropriate emergency investigations and treatment. • Stabilize patients requiring urgent medical intervention. • Recognize deteriorating or critically ill patients and initiate appropriate escalation. • Perform emergency procedures within the physician's approved scope of practice. • Coordinate referrals to consultants and specialist departments. • Participate in emergency department handovers. • Provide appropriate discharge instructions and follow-up recommendations. • Maintain complete and accurate emergency medical records. • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, nurses and other healthcare professionals. • Follow hospital emergency protocols and UAE clinical regulations. • Recognized medical degree. • Relevant postgraduate qualification and/or clinical experience appropriate to emergency and acute care. • Experience in Accident & Emergency, trauma or hospital-based acute care. • Eligibility for the appropriate UAE medical licence. • Strong clinical assessment and emergency-management skills. • Ability to work effectively under pressure. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
