Specialist - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Overview A premium private hospital in Ajman is seeking a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to provide comprehensive healthcare for women, including pregnancy-related care, routine gynaecological consultations, and the diagnosis and management of reproductive health conditions. The successful candidate will work with obstetricians, midwives, nurses, and other specialists to support safe and effective care. Clinical Responsibilities • Conduct obstetric and gynaecological consultations and examinations. • Provide antenatal assessments and monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing. • Diagnose and manage common gynaecological conditions and reproductive health concerns. • Assess patients with menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and other relevant symptoms. • Provide appropriate preventive care, screening guidance, and patient education. • Manage routine obstetric and gynaecological cases within approved clinical privileges. • Recognize high-risk pregnancies and urgent conditions requiring consultant input or escalation. • Coordinate diagnostic investigations, treatment plans, referrals, and follow-up care. • Counsel patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and pregnancy-related care. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient-safety standards. Requirements • Recognized specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. • Specialist-level clinical experience consistent with UAE licensing requirements. • Eligibility for, or an active licence from, the relevant UAE health authority, as required. • Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills. • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities. • Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient confidentiality, and safe clinical practice.
