Software Engineer React.js

Cinergie Digital is hiring a Software Engineer React.js for a front-end development engagement focused on a major Availability Page revamp. The role involves building responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js, working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders. This is a 6-month onsite engagement in Dubai with an expected start date of 15 August 2026. Key Responsibilities • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+). • Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect React components with clean, reusable code. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams Product, Design, and Backend to define, design, and deliver new features. • Ensure application performance, scalability, and code quality through sound engineering practices. • Identify and resolve UI bugs, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues. • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows. • Participate in code reviews and adhere to version control and branching standards. • Support continuous improvement of development processes, UI standards, and component libraries. Required Technical Skills • 3 5 years of hands-on front-end development experience. • Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. • Solid understanding of React Hooks, functional components, and component lifecycle concepts. • Experience consuming REST APIs and managing asynchronous data. • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows. • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. • Working knowledge of CSS frameworks or preprocessors Tailwind, Bootstrap, or SASS. • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise front-end code for performance. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Nice to Have • Experience with state management Redux, Zustand, or Context API. • Knowledge of TypeScript. • Exposure to testing tools Jest or React Testing Library. • Familiarity with Next.js or other modern React frameworks. • Understanding of performance optimisation and accessibility best practices. • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tooling. Candidate Profile • 3 5 years of professional front-end experience with a proven React.js track record. • Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced delivery team with direct stakeholder exposure. • Sharp attention to UI detail able to spot and close gaps between design intent and implementation. • Collaborative by nature, with the communication skills to engage across technical and non-technical roles.
