Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the Role Nysuniverse FZE LLC is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain modern web applications across frontend, backend, databases, and integrations. This is an onsite, full-time role in Ajman. Key Responsibilities • Build responsive web applications and user interfaces. • Develop backend services, APIs, authentication, and business logic. • Design and maintain database schemas, queries, and data access layers. • Integrate third-party APIs, payment systems, messaging services, and external platforms. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. • Improve application performance, accessibility, security, and reliability. • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers. • Review code and contribute to technical decisions. • Investigate bugs and resolve production issues. • Document technical decisions and development processes. Success Metrics • High-quality features delivered consistently. • Reliable, secure, and maintainable applications. • Strong test coverage and low regression rates. • Fast resolution of bugs and production issues. • Effective collaboration across product, design, and engineering. Requirements • 2–5 years of experience in full-stack web development. • Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. • Professional experience with React, Vue, Angular, or a similar frontend framework. • Backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or comparable technologies. • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, web architecture, and authentication. • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Familiarity with Git, testing, debugging, and code review workflows. • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and browser behavior. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms and serverless services. • Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with GraphQL, event-driven systems, or message queues. • Knowledge of performance optimization and observability. • Experience working in agile or product-focused teams.
