Job description

About the Role We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong frontend engineering skills and solid API/integration experience. The candidate will work across React/TypeScript UI, Next.js App Router and API routes, Apollo Client, server-side GraphQL patterns, authentication flows, payment/webhook integrations, PostgreSQL-backed GraphQL, and cloud deployed environments. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain Next.js App Router pages, layouts, server/client components, and reusable React + TypeScript components using Tailwind CSS. - Implement and consume GraphQL using Apollo Client; manage query/mutation patterns, caching, loading/error states, and structured failure handling. - Develop Next.js API routes and route handlers that proxy authentication, payments, webhooks, CRM/event logging, document uploads, and third-party integrations using the BFF pattern. - Implement secure authentication flows including guest JWT for anonymous visitors, member login/logout, token refresh, secure cookie/header handling, and Authorization: Bearer usage for GraphQL and REST calls. - Integrate and troubleshoot payment gateways, CRM webhooks/event logging, RCX or similar membership/ticketing systems, email services, file/document upload, and Apple Wallet / Google Wallet pass features end-to-end. - Work with PostgreSQL data exposed through Hasura, including schema familiarity, permissions awareness, role based access behavior, and debugging GraphQL-vs-SQL issues. - Support bilingual English/Arabic user experience, RTL layout requirements, accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. - Participate in code reviews, release troubleshooting, production issue analysis, CI/CD execution, and environment support across Docker, Azure Pipelines, AKS, SSL, cookies, CORS, secrets, and configuration. - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product owners, architects, UX/UI, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into production-ready, testable, secure, and maintainable features. - Document technical decisions, assumptions, blockers, integration dependencies, and handover notes clearly. • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional software development experience, with proven production delivery in web applications or portals. • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience as accepted by HR policy. • Strong evidence of delivering public-facing or member-facing platforms, ideally in membership, ecommerce, events, ticketing, checkout, cultural, government, or enterprise domains. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic/RTL product experience is a strong advantage. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Redis for session/cache patterns used in wallet, GraphQL, or performance-related caching. • Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Pipeline YAML, and AKS operational troubleshooting. • Hasura admin/metadata workflows, GraphQL gateway security, CORS, Bearer-only security, and role/permission hardening. • Corporate/B2B membership flows including invites, activation links, bulk onboarding, and organization-level account management. • Apple Wallet / Google Wallet pass generation and related QR/e-card membership flows. • SonarQube or equivalent static analysis in CI/CD. • Headless CMS experience such as Directus or Wagtail. This is optional for the user portal, but useful for wider programme properties where CMS-managed pages are involved. Expected Deliverables: • Production-ready Next.js pages, components, API routes, and integration features aligned with approved requirements and acceptance criteria. • GraphQL queries/mutations, cache handling, BFF proxy logic, auth handling, webhook/payment/document upload integrations, and tested release packages. • Clean code, reusable components, technical notes, configuration documentation, and handover material. • Defect fixes, root-cause analysis, environment troubleshooting, and release-readiness support. • Regular progress updates covering completed work, blockers, integration risks, dependencies, and next actions.
