About the Role The Senior QA Engineer will own quality assurance planning, testing, defect governance, automation support, release validation, and production-readiness quality and related integrated digital ecosystem. The role requires a senior QA professional who can protect delivery quality across web, mobile-responsive, API, CRM/ticketing/payment integrations, and admin workflows. Key Responsibilities - Create and maintain end-to-end test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data covering functional, non functional, integration, regression, usability, and edge-case scenarios. - Execute manual and exploratory testing across user portal, admin portal, web, mobile-responsive views, API layers, CRM/ticketing/payment flows, and business workflows. - Build, maintain, and enhance scalable UI and API automation suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-Assured, Postman, or equivalent frameworks. - Perform API, data validation, payload verification, and integration testing to ensure reliable end-to-end data flow between systems. - Log clear, reproducible defects with evidence, priority/severity, environment details, steps to reproduce, expected/actual results, screenshots, and supporting data. - Lead daily defect triage, verify fixes, perform targeted regression, and communicate release risks to project leadership. - Track and report QA metrics including pass/fail rate, defect leakage, regression coverage, automation coverage, blockers, risk areas, and release readiness status. - Run baseline performance, load, usability, and security-related testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, OWASP ZAP, or equivalent where applicable. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, business users, DevOps, UX/UI, and integration owners to ensure requirements are testable and delivery quality is controlled. - Support UAT preparation, business validation, release notes verification, go-live readiness, and post-release defect monitoring. - Mentor team members and promote QA discipline, structured defect reporting, test evidence, and continuous improvement. Expected Deliverables - Master test plan, sprint test plans, detailed test cases, test data, and regression packs. - Executed test results with evidence, pass/fail outcomes, defect logs, and release readiness summaries. - Automation scripts or reusable test collections for critical workflows and integration validations where feasible. - QA metrics dashboard or status update covering defect trends, blockers, regression completion, and risks. - UAT support material, business validation evidence, and final QA recommendation for release sign-off. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent proven QA experience may be considered based on HR policy. • Minimum 8 years of relevant QA experience, preferably including enterprise, government, semi-government, membership, ecommerce, ticketing, CRM, or payment-related platforms. • Strong understanding of agile delivery, test design techniques, defect management, release governance, requirements traceability, and production support quality controls. • Strong English communication skills with the ability to explain defects, risks, blockers, and release quality status clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
