Senior Technical Designer (Hospitality Interiors)

Duties & Responsibilities • Lead the preparation and development of detailed technical design and construction drawing packages for 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, restaurants, and hospitality projects. • Translate approved design concepts into accurate, coordinated, and buildable technical documentation while maintaining the overall design intent. • Produce detailed floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), elevations, sections, joinery details, bespoke furniture, ceiling features, and interior architectural details. • Develop and manage detailed 3D interior design models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project BIM standards. • Generate technical drawings, schedules, construction details, and documentation directly from Revit models. • Coordinate interior design models and drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, lighting, kitchen, AV, and specialist consultants. • Review consultant drawings, identify clashes, and resolve technical coordination issues. • Ensure design details comply with 5-star hotel operator standards, brand guidelines, project specifications, and hospitality requirements. • Review shop drawings, material submissions, technical specifications, and samples to ensure compliance with approved design intent. • Conduct drawing and BIM model quality checks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely submissions. • Attend site visits, coordinate with contractors, respond to RFIs, and provide technical solutions during construction. • Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, accessibility, and fire and life safety standards. • Lead technical design deliverables, provide guidance to junior designers, and coordinate workloads to meet project deadlines. • Implement company BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and relevant ISO 19650 requirements.
