Senior Site Architect

Our Multi National Design and Supervision Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Site Architect to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on high profile new branded residential projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Site Architect on similar projects in the UAE. Candidates must have worked for a recognised architectural and design consultancy client in a supervision role as site architect. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client. Responsibilities • Manage Scope & Schedule, ensuring alignment with project objectives. • Ensure compliance with project requirements and design standards. • Support integration of design packages across disciplines. • Oversee Inspections and QA QC aspects of project delivery • Deliver Architecture mandate as part of the Project Management team, including stakeholder engagement. • Collaborate with Design Group, Delivery team, and Project team on design delivery from concept to completion. • Deliver architectural designs for diverse typologies: residential, mixed-use, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, civic, cultural, etc. • Prepare, develop, and edit drawings and presentations effectively. • Supervise production from visualization through pre-concept, concept, developed, and detailed design stages. • Lead qualitative architectural design reviews, offering analysis, comments, and recommendations • Draft comprehensive architectural documentation from concept through detailed design. • Ensure Design and Asset Brief compliance, maintaining accuracy and completeness. • Develop and review architectural asset briefs, manuals, and standard design documents. • Oversee preparation of materials schedules, sample boards, FF&E schedules, sourcing, and mock-ups. • Solve design issues creatively while adhering to budget and design approach. • Communicate and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders • Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering complex, high-profile projects. • Provide strategic guidance on technical design standards and philosophy. • Monitor technical compliance throughout design and construction phases. • Conduct design reviews and recommend solutions aligned with business & project goals Senior Site Architect Experience: • Minimum 8-10 years overall experience. • Strong proficiency in Revit • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture • Previous experience of working in a recognised Design and Engineering Consultancy. • Strong Site based experience working on large scale, high profile residential, hospitality or mixed use projects in the UAE is essential • Experience of closing out projects is essential
