Senior Planning & Cost Control Engineer - Oil&Gas/EPC/Brownfield

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning and Cost Control Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, cost control, forecasting, and reporting activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6. • Establish project baselines, resource plans, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts. • Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning progress against approved schedules. • Perform cost control activities, including budget monitoring, cost forecasting, and variance analysis. • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI reports for management and clients. • Identify schedule delays, cost overruns, and project risks, and recommend corrective actions. • Support preparation and evaluation of claims, variation orders, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions. • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Commercial teams to ensure project objectives are achieved. • Conduct schedule reviews, critical path analysis, and project performance assessments. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • Minimum 15 years of experience in Planning and Cost Control for Oil & Gas EPC projects. • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications. • Sound knowledge of project controls, cost management, earned value analysis, and project reporting. • Experience working on ADNOC or other major Oil & Gas operator projects is preferred. • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Primavera P6 Professional Certification. • PMP Certification.
