Senior Mechanical Engineer

Careers International is hiring for a reputed Civil & MEP Contracting Company in the UAE for its ongoing building and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage all mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting) on building projects from mobilisation to handover • Review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements; coordinate approvals with consultant and client • Plan resources, manpower and work sequence to meet project schedule and budget • Coordinate with civil, electrical and other trades to resolve site clashes and design issues • Supervise testing, commissioning and snagging; prepare handover and as-built documentation • Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, HSE standards and local authority (DM/DCD/Civil Defence) requirements • Guide and mentor site engineers, foremen and supervisors Benefits • Attractive all-inclusive monthly package (negotiable based on experience) • Employment visa and UAE labour-law benefits as per company policy • Medical insurance as per UAE law • Annual leave and air ticket as per company policy • End-of-service gratuity as per UAE Labour Law • Long-term career growth with an established Civil & MEP contractor Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering • 10+ years of experience in MEP execution with Civil/MEP contracting companies, with GCC experience preferred • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire-fighting systems and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA) • Experience handling high-rise, commercial or residential building projects • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; MS Project/Primavera is an advantage • UAE driving licence and Society of Engineers registration preferred
