**EXECUTIVE SEARCH** **SUBJECT:** Search Assignment: Senior Food \& Beverage Quality Specialist **FACILITY:** Food 9X — Salalah Operations **LOCATION:** Building 200, Al Saada Industrial, Salalah, Dhofar Governorate **COMPENSATION:** OMR 1,550 / month (Fixed Base) **1\. MANDATE \& OPERATIONAL SCOPE** Food 9X is actively recruiting a **Senior Food \& Beverage Quality Specialist** to assume technical oversight of quality assurance (QA), food safety management systems (FSMS), and regulatory compliance across our processing and commercial operations in Al Saada Industrial, Salalah. This key operational role is tasked with safeguarding product integrity, enforcing raw material and finished\-goods standards, and ensuring full compliance with Omani food safety regulations and international standards. **2\. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Quality Assurance \& Safety Systems:** Direct the maintenance and daily execution of HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP standards across processing lines, storage, and distribution workflows. * **Batch Testing \& Lab Controls:** Oversee organoleptic, microbiological, and chemical testing protocols for incoming raw ingredients and finished food items to guarantee consistent specs. * **Audit \& Regulatory Compliance:** Serve as the primary operational liaison for Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and municipal health inspectors. Lead routine internal QA audits and corrective action reporting (CAPA). * **Vendor \& Supply Chain Verification:** Audit supplier quality parameters, establish raw material receiving standards, and trace storage/cold\-chain integrity throughout the local supply chain. * **Process Optimization \& Training:** Conduct continuous quality\-control training for production staff, minimizing waste, batch rejection rates, and sanitation breaches. **3\. TARGET CANDIDATE PROFILE** * **Professional History:** 5\+ years of hands\-on QA/QC experience within food processing, beverage production, or industrial food manufacturing environments. * **Technical Qualifications:** Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a closely aligned discipline. * **Certifications:** Formally certified in HACCP and ISO 22000 implementation/lead auditing. * **Regulatory Command:** Thorough working knowledge of GCC food standards (GSO), regional labeling rules, and Omani municipal health codes. * **Logistics Note:** Candidate must currently reside in Oman and be fully available for full\-time, on\-site duties at the Al Saada Industrial facility in Salalah. **4\.
