**SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT SPECIALIST** **Location:** Building 150, Barka Agricultural Hub, Barka, Oman **Monthly Compensation:** OMR 1,800 **Facility Context \& Environmental Mission** Operating out of the Barka Agricultural Hub, Black Rock Organics specializes in organic soil enrichment, large\-scale waste\-to\-resource recycling, sustainable bio\-fertilizer production, and eco\-friendly agricultural technologies. We are bringing on a **Senior Environmental Impact Specialist** to lead environmental compliance, conduct soil and waste\-stream impact assessments, and drive sustainable resource recovery practices across our commercial composting and organic manufacturing operations. **Key Responsibilities** * **Impact Assessments \& Audits:** Conduct comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), life\-cycle analyses (LCA), and environmental risk audits for organic waste processing, bio\-fertilizer manufacturing, and soil treatment facilities. * **Regulatory Compliance \& Permitting:** Manage compliance with Omani Ministry of Heritage and Tourism / Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (MECA) regulations, securing necessary environmental permits and ensuring adherence to local emissions, runoff, and waste management standards. * **Soil \& Waste Stream Testing:** Oversee sampling and environmental monitoring of incoming organic waste, compost output, heavy metal thresholds, and runoff water quality to maintain strict ecological and safety benchmarks. * **Sustainability \& Carbon Tracking:** Develop data\-driven frameworks to measure carbon offset metrics, greenhouse gas emission reductions, and circular economy contributions across processing lines. * **Stakeholder \& Authority Liaison:** Act as the primary technical contact for government inspectors, agricultural partners, and environmental regulatory bodies regarding facility compliance and sustainability protocols. **Candidate Profile** * **Field Experience:** 5\+ years of dedicated experience in environmental engineering, environmental impact assessment (EIA), sustainable agriculture, or organic waste management. * **Regulatory Command:** Deep understanding of Omani environmental laws, waste management frameworks, and international standards for organic certification and soil safety. * **Analytical Skills:** Proven ability in field sampling, laboratory data analysis, environmental monitoring systems, and technical reporting. * **Academic Background:** Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline. * **Location:** Currently based in Oman with full capability to operate on\-site at our Barka Agricultural Hub facility. **To Apply** Submit an updated CV detailing your background in environmental impact studies, regulatory compliance management, and sustainable agricultural/waste processing operations. الراتب المدفوع: ﷼١٬٨٠٠٫٠٠٠ لكل شهر موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
