***Senior Polymer Research Scientist — Sahaba Enplast Projects Salalah*** ***Location:***Building 145, Barka Trade Center, Barka ***Monthly Compensation:*** OMR 1,900 ***Setup:*** Full\-Time / On\-Site ***Role Overview*** Sahaba Enplast Projects Salalah is hiring a Senior Polymer Research Scientist to lead our polymer formulation, material characterization, and plastic composite R\&D projects in Barka. ***Key Duties*** \* Formulate and develop advanced polymer compounds, thermoplastics, and bio\-based composite materials to meet specific physical, thermal, and mechanical specs. \* Conduct comprehensive material characterization testing using techniques like DSC, TGA, FTIR, and rheology. \* Partner with production engineers to scale lab\-tested formulations into full production runs without compromising structural integrity. \* Troubleshoot compounding issues, degradation factors, and processing defects during manufacturing. \* Document research findings, file technical patent filings, and enforce international quality standards across all chemical processes. ***Qualifications*** \* 6\+ years of research and development experience in polymer science, plastics engineering, or material chemistry. \* Master’s or Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science. \* Hands\-on expertise with polymer characterization lab equipment, extrusion technologies, and injection molding processes. \* Strong analytical skills focused on material failure analysis and formulation optimization. \* Located in Oman and available for full\-time work on\-site in Barka. ***Application*** Submit your CV detailing your scientific publications, material research background, and polymer formulation experience. الراتب المدفوع: ﷼١٬٩٠٠٫٠٠٠ لكل شهر موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
