Senior Accountant

• 2–6 years in Accounting/Finance, preferably with experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Reconciliations, VAT, and ERP systems. • Manage and maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate accounting entries. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities. • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions. • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management. • Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation. • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, VAT, tax regulations, and company policies. • Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior accounting staff. Monitor accounting systems/ERP and identify opportunities for process improvement. • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, auditors, and other stakeholders. • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. • Stay updated on accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices.
