SALES EXECUTIVE

Are you a high\-performing logistics sales professional looking to expand your reach? **Sohar Shipping** is looking for a driven **Sales Executive** to join our commercial team. This role uniquely combines direct **ocean liner agency representation** with comprehensive **multimodal freight forwarding** (Air, Sea, Customs, Land), giving you a versatile portfolio to sell and unlimited earning potential. **What You’ll Do** * **Drive New Business:** Prospect, pitch, and close new accounts for ocean freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, customs brokerage, and inland transport. * **Maximize Liner Capacity:** Support represented ocean carriers by filling vessel space and securing volume commitments from regional shippers. * **Build Client Relationships:** Manage key accounts, working closely with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and BCOs. * **Deliver Customized Solutions:** Tailor end\-to\-end supply chain strategies that blend liner services with value\-added forwarding solutions. * **Quote \& Negotiate:** Prepare rate quotes, negotiate commercial terms, and close high\-margin contracts. * **Track Market Trends:** Stay updated on ocean freight rate shifts, carrier alliances, and trade lane dynamics to position our services effectively. **What We’re Looking For** * **Experience:** **2\+ years** of successful B2B sales experience in **freight forwarding, liner agency, or 3PL**. * **Industry Know\-How:** Strong understanding of container shipping operations, trade lanes, and global freight workflows. * **Client Portfolio:** An existing network of regional shippers/importers/exporters is a major plus. * **Key Skills:** High\-impact communication, strong negotiation abilities, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
