Job description
Position Objective
To lead the commercial and operational performance of AutoFast Auto Care, delivering safe, fast, reliable, and customer-focused automotive maintenance services while achieving sustainable growth, profitability, service quality, and workforce productivity.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day operation of AutoFast Auto Care, including customer reception, workshop flow, quick-service bays, tire and lubricant sales, parts availability, cashiering, and facility readiness.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan, operating budget, sales targets, service-volume targets, gross-margin objectives, and cost-control initiatives.
• Drive revenue growth across tires, engine oil, batteries, brakes, filters, alignment, balancing, preventive maintenance, and other approved quick-service categories.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including sales, gross profit, average invoice value, vehicles serviced, bay utilization, technician productivity, conversion rate, repeat customers, customer complaints, inventory turnover, and operating expenses.
• Ensure a consistent customer journey from vehicle check-in and inspection through quotation approval, service execution, quality check, invoicing, and vehicle handover.
• Establish service standards and operating procedures that minimize waiting time, prevent rework, and maintain accurate job cards, customer approvals, inspection records, and invoices.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop branch managers, service advisors, technicians, tire fitters, cashiers, and support staff; ensure clear targets, adequate staffing, and effective performance follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor requirements, municipality and commercial requirements, environmental obligations, waste-oil and used-tire handling requirements, Civil Defense requirements, and applicable health and safety standards.
• Maintain strong controls over cash, discounts, refunds, credit sales, purchasing, stock transfers, inventory counts, damaged items, warranty claims, and approval authorities.
• Plan inventory levels and replenishment for fast-moving tires, lubricants, filters, batteries, spare parts, and consumables while reducing stock-outs, excess inventory, slow-moving items, and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to obtain competitive pricing, reliable availability, agreed service levels, technical support, product training, and proper warranty handling.
• Implement local marketing, fleet-account development, customer-retention programs, service reminders, promotions, digital channels, and partnerships that increase traffic and repeat business.
• Review customer feedback and complaints, identify root causes, approve corrective actions, and protect the reputation of AutoFast Auto Care.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports covering financial results, operating performance, customer experience, safety, staffing, inventory, major risks, and required decisions.
• Evaluate expansion opportunities, new services, equipment requirements, branch layouts, and capital expenditures; prepare recommendations and business cases for management approval.
• Execute the approved expansion plan, including opening new locations, launching new service lines, coordinating site readiness, staffing, equipment, systems, supplier setup, and performance ramp-up.
• Perform other business-related duties assigned by the CEO or General Manager.
Travel Requirements
• The position is based in Al-Khobar and requires regular presence at AutoFast Auto Care locations. Occasional travel within Saudi Arabia may be required for supplier meetings, training, market visits, or future site reviews.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in automotive retail, quick-service maintenance, tire retail, workshops, lubricants, or a comparable multi-service retail operation, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing profit and loss, sales, operations, inventory, customer service, and frontline teams.
• Experience in the Saudi automotive aftermarket is strongly preferred.
Skills
• Strong commercial understanding of automotive quick-service operations, tires, lubricants, batteries, preventive maintenance, workshop flow, and retail customer service.
• Ability to manage a profit-and-loss statement, budgets, pricing, margins, productivity, inventory, cash controls, and branch operating expenses.
• Strong leadership, coaching, workforce planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to convert operational data into clear actions and management recommendations.
• Knowledge of retail systems, point-of-sale systems, job-card processes, inventory systems, Microsoft Excel, and business reporting tools.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is strongly preferred.
• Customer-focused, hands-on, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and workshop environment.
• Valid Saudi driving license or eligibility to obtain one.
