Remote 2D AutoCAD Draftsman

Company: Lava Space Interior Design & Fit-Out Job Type: Full-Time – 100% Remote Company Location: Dubai, UAE Candidate Location: Worldwide Job Description Lava Space Interior Design & Fit-Out is seeking an experienced Remote 2D AutoCAD Draftsman to support our commercial interior fit-out projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed, construction-ready shop drawings for cafés, restaurants, retail shops, offices, and other commercial interiors. This is a fully remote technical drafting position, requiring the ability to work independently, coordinate with our Dubai-based project team, and meet agreed deadlines. Key Responsibilities Prepare complete architectural and interior fit-out shop drawing packages using AutoCAD. Develop floor plans, partition layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), flooring layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details. Produce detailed joinery drawings for counters, cabinets, wall cladding, doors, and custom furniture. Convert approved 3D concepts and design presentations into accurate construction drawings. Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP layouts provided by the engineering team. Revise drawings according to consultant, landlord, mall management, and site comments. Prepare as-built drawings based on verified site measurements and information provided by the site team. Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, layers, Xrefs, and organized CAD files. Attend online coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates. Deliver editable DWG files and properly formatted PDF drawing sets. Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant interior fit-out drafting experience. Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D — mandatory. Experience using Autodesk Revit — strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of joinery, architectural detailing, interior finishes, and construction methods. Experience preparing shop drawings for cafés, restaurants, and retail fit-out projects. Familiarity with UAE construction standards and submission requirements is an advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of running AutoCAD. Availability for coordination meetings during UAE working hours. Application Requirements Please submit updated CV.
